Refund and Cancellation Policy

YAUPICKS PTY LTD (ABN 40 673 940 228)

1. The free trial

New members receive a 7 day free trial. You are not charged anything during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never billed and there is nothing to refund. If you do not cancel, your plan begins automatically at the end of the trial, at the price shown on the pricing page and at checkout.

2. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, yourself, without contacting us and without any retention process. How to cancel sets out the exact steps. Cancelling stops future billing. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and is not cut short.

3. Refunds on completed billing periods

Because access is granted immediately and in full for each billing period, fees for a period you have already had access to are generally not refunded. Cancelling part way through a week or a month stops the next payment rather than refunding the current one. This does not limit your rights in sections 4 and 6 below.

Where a membership is terminated by YAUPICKS under section 6 of the Terms of Service for conduct inconsistent with the interests of YAUPICKS or its community, fees already paid are not refunded, including any unused portion of the current billing period.

4. Billing errors

If you have been charged in error, we refund it. That includes duplicate charges, a charge taken after you cancelled, a charge during a free trial, and a charge at the wrong amount. Email support@yaupicks.com with the date and amount and we will investigate and, where the charge was made in error, refund it to the original payment method.

5. How to raise a complaint

Email support@yaupicks.com with your account email and what has gone wrong. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to resolve or give you a clear position within 10 business days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can escalate it to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission or to the consumer affairs or fair trading body in your state or territory.

6. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy or in our Terms of Service excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under that law. If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy, and if the failure is major you may be entitled to cancel and receive a refund for the unused portion. Where a statutory right applies, it prevails over section 3.

7. Payments and chargebacks

Payments are processed by our payment partner, Whop. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and the time taken to appear depends on your bank or card issuer. If you believe there is a problem with a charge, contacting us directly is faster than a chargeback and lets us fix genuine errors immediately.
